Interpretive model of the Nelson-Atkins museum in Kansas City used in a dialog with designer Chris McVoy of Steven Holl Architects. Simple massing of the existing museum is made of limestone while the massing of the addition is represented in plaster. A vacuumed-formed plastic landscape reveals the rhizomatic nature of the addition underground.
