Before its aesthetic appeal, graffiti was a way for people to claim agency and power over their environments. Graffiti shuffle was installed in Pioneer Square over two days to provide a canvas for interaction and a moment of empowerment . Cardboard boxes coated in chalkboard paint provide 6 faces for tagging and a wood framework provides a flexible system to create and remix.
